The opportunity : Business Specialist (Product Owner)

As a Business Analyst, you will help ZCAM’s customers by understanding their needs and developing solutions to business problems. You will work with multidisciplinary and international teams to gather requirements, document processes, and communicate findings. Your responsibilities will include collecting and documenting business needs, analyzing data to identify trends and insights, suggesting process improvements, creating reports and presentations for stakeholders, and collaborating with teams to implement solutions. Additionally, you will be key to ensure that project objectives align with business goals, and will lead meetings and workshops to drive project success. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Understands customers objectives, processes and products in order to make appropriate recommendations for customer-specific needs during incubation, delivery and operations
  • Plans, conducts and facilitates incubation sessions for business requirements gathering with subject matter experts and end users ensuring deliverables are met
  • Adapts and applies different delivery methodologies determining the best methodology for the specific project
  • Contributes to business cases, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope definition and development of a high-level schedule
  • Produces requirement specifications and outlines solution design documents throughout the project life cycle, incorporating change requests and finalization of requirements documentation
  • Analyzes and manages requirement risk, traceability matrix and prioritizes requirements
  • Performs quality review checks on project deliverables
  • Participates in development of test plan, testing, implementation and training activities
  • Participates in post implementation activities including problem solving and measurement of benefits achieved
  • Communicates effectively through different mediums at all levels
  • Creates compelling project documents such as business cases, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope definition and development of a high-level schedule
  • Manages interdependencies within the projects and other functions

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or science or a related field, any higher degree is an advantage
  • Professional experience in related role and / or demonstrated competency (projects) utilizing relevant technologies
  • Balanced mix of business acumen as well as affinity to technology and systems
  • Innovative and creative self-starter, highly motivated, business and IT savvy
  • Independent and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Must possess in-depth, strong problem-solving analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Experience in the delivery of business solutions in time, quality, and budget
  • Proven experience as business analyst or subject matter expert in global projects and / or sound knowledge in insurance business
  • Proven track with project management & software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, SCRUM, ITIL, PMP)
  • Tough-minded, highly flexible and determine to deliver assigned targets
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in application testing and organizing user acceptance testing
  • Customer-oriented team player with good communication abilities, fostering effective collaboration and teamwork
  • Strong proficiency in both English and Portuguese is required, Spanish language skills are a plus.
