Job summary

An international recruitment consultancy is looking for a Business Intelligence Intern to play a key role in developing data-driven strategies and supporting various automation projects. The ideal candidate will assist in data architecture, develop automations using tools like Power BI and SQL, and contribute to BI and data engineering projects. This internship offers the opportunity to work in a multicultural environment while developing essential skills in data handling and business analytics.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, graduation forecast June 2026 or December 2026.
• Fluent English is a must, Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work independently, with ownership of the area and orienting other members of the area;
• Motivation to work in a multicultural environment;

Responsibilities

• Assist in BI, Automation, and data engineering projects.
• Develop analytical dashboards in Power BI.
• Contribute to the organizational strategic planning.
• Develop Queries and lookout on the OLTP environment;
• Contribute to the organizational strategic planning once you shall be a focus point of data-driven information;
• Develop presentations and analysis to support our front and back office members;
• Be a focal point for Operational teams with our CRM, automations and dashboards.

Position overview:

As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will have a key role in developing our data-driven mindset and supporting diverse business-related strategies as well as help in the data architecture of the company and develop new automations/dashboards to give business scalability to the company.

As an intern you will assist in BI, Automation and data engineering projects as well as learn about the tools and technologies that we commonly use in the area/company.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration are preferred) - Graduation forecast: June 2026 or December 2026;

Hard Skills & Knowledge:

Must have on tools:

• SQL or other programming language – beginner level;
• Not mandatory but you'll win extra points if you have any of them:
  • Power BI and/or other power platform apps; Azure; SharePoint; Python; knowledge in API Requests or relational models or data warehouses, any data engineering tool...
