Overview

We are looking for a customer-focused Business Developer based in São Paulo to join an international, high-performing team.

The role focuses on the Data Center industry, a strategic and emerging segment for Hilti in the region.

You will promote Hilti solutions among local and international Owners, EPCs, and Contractors, creating sustainable value for both customers and Hilti, and help establish our presence in the Data Center segment. You will create strategies and lead their execution toward sales with Data Center accounts, based on commercial relationships and technical specifications, in close collaboration with the global and regional BD community and our technical back office.

You will analyze economic and market trends that impact the Data Center industry and develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities.

You will build senior-level relationships within customer organizations to drive execution of account strategies and accelerate growth in this new segment.

What You’ll Do

Contribute and be accountable for specification and sales development (direct or indirect), long-term relationship building, and execution of account strategy by delivering tailored commercial and technical solutions.

Develop senior relationship contacts within the customer's organization to drive execution of the account strategy (e.g., department heads, corporate).

Drive specifications by supporting Hilti technical teams working with assigned accounts, including designers, engineers, project team members, procurement departments, lead engineers, discipline managers, and cross-disciplinary teams (Civil, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Piping & Procurement).

Focus primarily on customer projects.

Examine economic and market trends and conditions that affect the company and develop strategies to capitalize on changing circumstances.

Maintain effective communication throughout the team and company, collaborate with several offices/branches located in multiple regions, and travel as required for responsibilities.

What You’ll Bring
  • Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Knowledge in technical sales of engineering solutions and specifications.
  • Advanced English required.
  • Previous technical commercial experience in the Data Center segment.
  • Ability to negotiate at different hierarchical levels.
  • Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Experience in nuclear energy is a plus.
