Position: Brazil Crop Protection Projects Manager
- GET TO KNOW OUR AREA: Ensure key Crop Protection brands and innovation have the highest value for growers, through best positioning, branding and business model, to secure Bayer capture the most of it.
- YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO: Drive the Crop Protection projects in the country cluster, from development phase to launch +2 years, via strong governance, collaboration and alignment with related areas (Assets, Customer Marketing, Marketing Excellence, Digital Farm Solution, Field Solution, Marketing Development, Sales, Product Supply), to ensure project financials are delivered as planned.
- Support Asset managers on projects business cases development, and maintain figures updated into Newport +10 years, being fully aligned with global project managers and with well-defined macro assumptions (cogs, price, market, segment, competitors, regulation environment, GTM, risks).
- Ensure company understand CP innovation governance and process in the country cluster.
- Lead the CP projects cycle in the cluster, keeping alignment among Assets managers, Field Solutions, MD, Regulatory, and Customer Marketing / Sales to ensure projects timeline accomplishment and outstanding product introduction in the markets.
- Establish and lead a clear roadmap for each CP project, ensuring involvement of all needed areas and their responsibilities, aiming to deliver the highest value in the shorter period.
- Ensure projects have realistic scenarios and ambitious targets, prioritizing the right markets to position the innovations according to size, company strategy and growth potential, by challenging ROI, Market Share gain, GP and Price.
- Ensure full leverage and value capture in the project through contributing into the product positioning definition, proactively pointing out upsides, and showing, inspiring and challenging project team members.
- Ensure the link of Digital Tools and / or New Business Models within the CP project since the first project phases, to seek innovative value propositions.
- Establish and cascade down to clusters all the pre-launches activities, ensuring optimum CP launches and track sales ramp up until year 2 after market introduction, securing the reach of defined peak of sales.
- Responsible to maintain all projects updated into Newport +10 years and be the first point of clarification of all global questions and demands.
Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration.
- Marketing or Agronomy.
- Fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
- Sound knowledge of agribusiness with experience in crop protection portfolio management or marketing.
- Customer Centricity, strategic thinking, collaboration and learning agility.
- Ability to work with ambiguity / uncertainty in a dynamic environment.
- Experience leading & developing teams.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Leading / influencing peers and senior stakeholders at the global and country level on business decisions.
- Managing and collaborating in a matrix organization requiring experience interfacing with global organization.
- Standing alone, persistent and resilient.
