A global financial institution is seeking a Business Process Engineering Lead for their São Paulo team. This role involves leading the process definition and improvement initiatives critical to building the new franchise in Brazil. The ideal candidate should have over 6 years of experience in Process Management or Consulting, possess strong analytical skills, and be able to collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree and be fluent in English. Knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese is desirable.

Business Process Engineering (BPE) is a cross asset and multidisciplinary team within Engineering CIB which goal is the transformation and optimization of the operational processes with three main targets : improve customer experience, efficiency and reduce operational risk.

About the job

We are seeking to incorporate someone to lead the BPE CIB Brasil team, committed to participate in the design and definition (and continuous improvement) of the key business and support processes that will enable the creation and gradual growth of the new BBVA franchise in Brasil.

As part of this endeavour you will become a key partner of most of BBVA Brasil areas and will have the opportunity to collaborate and interact with different stakeholders based in Brasil, USA and holding units within BBVA.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor ´s degree required.
  • Prior success in leading process redesign efforts on large programs.
  • Ability to work in a consultative manner across multiple business areas.
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects.
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
  • Ability to think holistically about complex organizational, process, and technology systems.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented approach to personal work quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience interacting with senior executives and facilitating workshops and working groups.
  • Ability to create deliverable documents in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Google Sheets.
  • Ability to build consensus and work in a team environment.
  • Self motivation skills, ability to work independently within a team environment and be a team player.
  • Experience with customer journey mapping, identification of moments of truth, and action planning.
  • Strategic organizational change management experience from intent development through realization with strong focus on identifying and mitigating change risks.
  • Work experience and knowledge in at least one or more financial services functions : Wholesale Banking activities like Global Markets, Transactional Banking, Lending,Transaction Processing, Deposit Operations, Operations, Finance, Financial Risk.
Experience

More than 6 years of experience in a Process. Management / Process Engineering / Consulting / Corporate & Investment Banking roles.
