Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned backend engineer in São Paulo to drive the evolution of payment platforms using Java and Spring Boot. You will design robust REST APIs, implement microservices, and lead end-to-end technical initiatives with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.

You will collaborate with product and operations, implement testing strategies, and advance observability and DevOps practices in a high-transaction environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in technology field or equivalent.
• Solid experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of distributed systems architecture, high availability, and resilience.
• Experience with messaging and events (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with containers (Docker) and Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, and domain-driven design.
• Experience with automated testing and backend quality strategies.
• Experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, and a DevOps culture.
• Experience with observability (monitoring, metrics, and logging).
• Experience in high-criticality, high-transaction-volume environments.
• Ability to translate complex business rules into robust technical solutions.
• Hands-on profile with technical autonomy and the ability to act as a team reference.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the backend technical reference (Java / Spring Boot) in the evolution of payment platforms.
