Job summary

ALS is seeking a part-time sensory evaluator in Sorocaba, Brazil. You will assess products with sensory characteristics and participate in both initial and ongoing trainings to support quality and shelf-life evaluations.

The role focuses on qualitative and quantitative sensory testing of snacks and beverages, with responsibilities including training participation and reporting sensory changes to quality teams. This position is based in Sorocaba/SP with daytime hours from Monday to Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate products with sensory characteristics (snacks, cookies, beverages, biscuits, etc.).
• Perform qualitative and/or quantitative sensory evaluation of packaging and products (shape, size, texture, handling, appearance, materials, anatomy).
• Carry out temporal/shelf-life evaluations of sensory features.
• Detect and quantify sensory changes for quality control and shelf-life assessment.
• Participate in trainings conducted by ALS and by project sponsor.
