This role offers broad exposure to international regulatory frameworks, corporate governance, and commercial operations in a dynamic, globally distributed environment.

Accountabilities

You will support the Legal Team in managing day-to-day legal matters, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring that commercial and regulatory activities comply with applicable requirements.

  • Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor, service, marketing, sponsorship, affiliate, non-disclosure, and data processing agreements.
  • Identify contractual risks, recommend appropriate mitigation measures, and elevate key issues to the Legal Counsel.
  • Review corporate, regulatory, and commercial documents, including internal policies, terms and conditions, powers of attorney, board resolutions, and legal filings.
  • Maintain and organize the legal library and contract repository, ensuring proper version control, standardized templates, and updated records of contractual obligations, renewals, expirations, and notice periods.
  • Support litigation and administrative proceedings by collecting relevant documents and evidence, monitoring deadlines, coordinating with external counsel, and preparing case summaries and progress reports.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research covering commercial contracts, consumer protection, data privacy, corporate matters, and betting and gaming regulations.
  • Prepare legal memoranda, research summaries, and preliminary legal opinions under the supervision of the Legal Counsel.
  • Assist with corporate housekeeping, including maintaining entity records, preparing corporate documentation, and supporting registrations and statutory filings.
  • Support regulatory and certification activities by tracking certificate and report expiration dates, preparing audit documentation, and coordinating regulatory submissions.
  • Collaborate with Compliance teams across Brazil, Mexico, and other markets to draft policies, conduct regulatory checks, and improve internal processes.
  • Handle and coordinate internal legal requests from Product, Marketing, Finance, and HR teams.
  • Liaise with external certification bodies, testing laboratories, third-party vendors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Coordinate certification and compliance projects from planning through completion, monitoring timelines, documentation, and deliverables.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and regular status updates for leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a solid legal foundation, strong organizational abilities, and an interest in international commercial and regulatory matters, particularly within the betting and gaming industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent completed legal qualification.
  • Active membership in the relevant Bar Association.
  • Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken, are mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple certification projects, regulatory requirements, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret legal requirements and learn technical standards related to software, testing, and gaming.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with different teams.
  • Confidence communicating and coordinating with internal stakeholders, external partners, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities.
Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with the sports, betting, gaming, or iGaming industries.
  • Experience in media contract management.
  • Interest in sports and the broader sports entertainment industry.
  • Previous experience or academic coursework in commercial contracts, regulatory law, litigation support, or in-house legal operations.
  • Relevant legal internships or early-career experience supporting corporate legal teams.
