The ideal candidate will leverage extensive knowledge of Unreal Engine and asset pipelines to implement artwork and ensure high-quality performance. Key responsibilities include validating content, training new team members, and optimizing implementation processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a QA mindset and a strong understanding of 2D and 3D art applications.

Qualificações

• Experience with Unreal Engine, asset pipelines, and performance metrics.
• Familiarity with common BP parent classes is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Implement artwork from internal and external sources to game systems.
• Validate technical specifications of content.
• Own the implementation step for all assets in the game.
• Train new implementers on the process and tools.
• Seek ways to improve automation in the implementation process.

What You'll Do

Epic Games is looking for an Art Implementer on our Fortnite Festival team. You'll need extensive knowledge of the Unreal engine, asset pipelines, performance metrics, and best practices to maintain bug‑free assets and a positive player experience. Familiarity with common BP parent classes is essential.

In this role, you will

• Implement artwork from internal and external sources to game systems including Blueprint Asset content and systems setup (health, materials, grid snapping, architectural support, etc), Item Data setup, Character Part assembly, for use in the game
• Validate technical specification of content
• Receive prototypes and final assets and implementing them into the game
• Own the implementation step for all assets in the game by reviewing incoming work and creating tasks for the team of implementers
• Train new implementers on the process and tools, and ramping up outsourcing companies
• Seek ways to improve and automate the implementation process to make it faster and less error‑prone
• Open communication to various disciplines regarding status and known issues with content

What we're looking for
