Job description

We are seeking an experienced platform and DevSecOps professional to help design, manage, and evolve mission-critical infrastructure built on Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift. In this role, you will contribute to the reliability, security, performance, and scalability of enterprise platforms within a collaborative Center of Excellence (CoE). You will drive automation, strengthen security practices, and support the continuous improvement of containerized environments. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you will tackle complex technical challenges, troubleshoot critical incidents, and promote best practices in infrastructure management and observability. Accountabilities

• Administer, maintain, and continuously evolve mission-critical Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift environments, ensuring stability, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Implement and strengthen DevSecOps practices across the platform, integrating security principles into infrastructure operations and platform management.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and operational workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and reliability.
• Monitor and optimize platform availability, performance, security, and resource utilization to meet operational requirements.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical incidents, perform advanced troubleshooting, and identify root causes to prevent recurring issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, infrastructure, operations, and security teams to improve platform architecture and operational processes.
• Establish and promote best practices for Linux administration, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, observability, and platform security.
• Contribute to the evolution of enterprise platform architecture through continuous improvement, technical knowledge sharing, and the adoption of modern cloud-native technologies.
• Support the implementation of secure, reliable, and automated operational processes across critical environments.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience working with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes, Linux administration, and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong hands-on experience administering, operating, maintaining, and supporting Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift clusters in production or other critical environments.
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems administration, including troubleshooting, configuration, performance management, and operational support.
• Practical experience implementing DevSecOps practices, platform security controls, and infrastructure automation.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, manage critical incidents, analyze root causes, and maintain platform reliability.
• Understanding of container orchestration, cluster administration, infrastructure operations, and secure platform management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to share technical knowledge and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to automation, security, continuous learning, and operational excellence.
• Relevant professional certifications are highly valued, including Red Hat EX280 (OpenShift Administration Specialist) and EX380 (OpenShift Automation and Management Specialist), or Linux Foundation certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer), CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist), and CGOA (Certified GitOps Associate).
