Title: Android Developer

Location: Remote in Brazil/ Mexico

Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• 3 years of experience in Android Development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and convey technical ideas to a varied technical audience
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin programming language and the Android apis including work on a released Play Store application using Kotlin
• Strong Java knowledge
• Familiarity with client side GraphQL integration
• Git and Git Flow familiarity
• Build tooling familiarity Gradle Maven and CI build server experience
• Sound programming fundamentals experience working with memory management thread synchronization and event based programming issues utilization of sound engineering principles in writing code
• Strong UI Design knowledge
• Ability to integrate third party APIs and tools such as Video players Subscription services etc
• Experience mentoring and growing technical individuals
• Experience with the agile process flow

Nice to have

• Experience with deploying Android libraries to maven repositories
• Experience with Git Hub Actions
