Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Android developer to build high‑quality mobile apps for the Android platform. You will contribute to the full app lifecycle from concept to release, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design features and maintain robust code.

The role emphasizes code quality, performance, and staying current with industry best practices. You should have published Android apps, strong Kotlin/Java skills, familiarity with Firebase, REST APIs, and Git, plus experience

Qualificações

• Proven Android development experience with published apps.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Android SDKs, APIs and libraries.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies.
• Experience with Git source control.
• Familiarity with Firebase and publishing on Google Play.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Flutter for cross‑platform development.
• Experience developing apps for POS devices running Android.
• Familiarity with Fastlane and build automation using CI.
• Experience building white‑label apps.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing Android applications, with a portfolio of published apps
• Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with Android SDKs, APIs, and common libraries
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Strong passion for mobile technology and willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies
• Experience with source code management using Git
• Familiarity with the Firebase platform and publishing apps to the Google Play Store
• Knowledge of REST APIs
• Experience with cross-platform development using Flutter
• Experience developing apps for SmartPOS (card payment terminals) running Android
• Familiarity with Fastlane and build automation using CI
• Experience building white-label apps
