We are looking for an Analytics Engineer with solid experience in building robust, efficient, and well-integrated data models and products. This person will be a reference in data modeling, acting as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions. The role covers everything from gathering requirements to building pipelines and delivering modeled data in AWS Cloud, always ensuring scalability and reliability to support critical decisions. In some cases, you may also work on developing dashboards that turn data into actionable insights.

ABOUT THE TEAM

You will join VTEX’s Core Datasets and Pipelines team, responsible for organizing and making the company’s core data available. Our mission is to ensure product and business teams have access to reliable and consistent information, accelerating VTEX’s impact, empowering decision‑making, and fostering collaboration on a global scale.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain robust, scalable analytical models in AWS Cloud.
• Collaborate with product teams to define data requirements.
• Develop data ingestion, transformation, and modeling pipelines using the VTEX data platform.
• Support stakeholders on technical and analytical needs, turning requirements into practical solutions.
• Monitor performance, optimize queries, and ensure reliability across SQL and Python environments.
• Share best practices and contribute to the evolution of the data stack.

WHO YOU ARE

Hard Skills

• Experience with databases and data warehouses in AWS (Athena, Redshift, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python, including query optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with orchestration and data transformation tools (Airflow, Python, etc.).
• Strong understanding of AWS services (preferably Redshift, S3, Glue).
• Proven experience in data modeling for large‑scale analytics.
