Data Analytics Specialist

As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be instrumental in helping us understand our users better and shaping the future of our product through focused research and insights. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and contribute to projects that explore user needs, behaviors, and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

  • Data Exploration & Analysis: Explore and analyze large user behavior databases to generate actionable insights, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for product and business optimization.
  • Business Performance Support: Collaborate with the business team to support regular business performance reviews, providing data‑backed insights and recommendations for strategy optimization.
  • Strategic Decision‑Making: Translate complex data findings into clear, strategic recommendations for business stakeholders, aiding in the development of informed strategies.
  • Research Studies: Plan and organize research studies, focusing on data collection and analysis from existing databases rather than primary research tools like questionnaires.
  • Reporting & Presentation: Analyze and synthesize data into detailed reports and presentations, effectively communicating insights to key stakeholders.
  • Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with global teams, particularly the business team, to share insights and support strategic decision‑making across the organization.
  • Additional Support: Provide assistance with other data‑driven tasks as required to support team objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analysis, Marketing, or related fields
  • Strong interest in user research, consumer behaviour, and both quantitative and qualitative analysis methodologies.
  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Excellent communication skills, coordination abilities, and critical thinking capability.

Business Intelligence Partner

Responsibilities

  • Development of BI solutions (50%) – deliver BI solutions, ensure contractual conditions, maintain documentation, oversee design and build of visualisations, and support quality management.
  • Consult (30%) – act as liaison between clients, operations teams and BI teams; analyze data, present opportunities, and maximize revenue‑generating opportunities.
  • Maintain Standards (20%) – work within agreed parameters, promote resources, ensure data governance, and incorporate new innovative components.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Project Management and/or process improvement experience.

  • Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, identifying and querying data sources.
  • Cleanse and massage data, creating Tableau datasets, reports and dashboards to meet requirements.
  • Present and gather feedback from stakeholders on the finished product.
  • Deploy data, reports and dashboards to Tableau; develop reports according to analyst‑defined specifications.
  • Conduct technical training.
  • Maintain and document the operational environment.
  • Maintain and process SQL Server stored procedures and queries.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience developing BI dashboards and reports, analysing and visualising data.
  • Understanding of Tableau administration, licensing, security, and deployment.
  • Solid understanding of relational data modelling concepts.
  • Strong analytic skills, disciplined implementation, and documentation.
  • Experience with ETL of data from a variety of sources using SSIS, Python, or similar technologies (plus).
  • Knowledge of SQL Server database architecture or experience creating tabular data models in SQL Server (plus).
  • Advanced English level.
