AI Scientist for Speech - Language Experience

What you'll do

• Work together with our AI scientists, engineers, architect and product teams to deliver new and improve existing features in AI-driven speech services.
• Assess new technology, tools, and infrastructure to evolve the existing highly used functionalities and services in the cloud.
• Execute with an enterprise cloud mindset to deliver on security, compliance, and ML algorithms and applications.

What you bring

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics or a related field with a focus on Natural Language Processing. Additional linguistic studies and / or language skills are beneficial.
• Experience in AI models' development and optimization (training, fine-tuning, domain adaptation; proficient in experiment tracking, hyperparameters optimization, evaluation).
• Familiarity with Speech Recognition and Speech Synthesis concepts is beneficial.
• Proven programming skills in Python.
• Experience with essential NLP libraries and tools, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, pandas or scikit-learn, for data manipulation and processing.
• Experienced in designing data processing pipelines for large-scale datasets and working with complex structured and unstructured data architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with audio data processing (including handling various data formats, sampling, forced alignment, silence trimming, normalization) is beneficial. Experience with AI offerings on hyperscalers like Azure or AWS.
• Research‑driven mindset and attention to fine‑grained experimental design.
• Ability to quickly acquire a thorough understanding in new technological areas.
• Full professional proficiency in English. (both spoken and written)
