Location:Remote in Europe and LATAM

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered features that solve real business problems
• Develop and maintain machine learning models, APIs, and data pipelines
• Work with product, engineering, and data teams to turn ideas into scalable solutions
• Experiment with and integrate LLMs, recommendation systems, or predictive models
• Optimize models for performance, reliability, and scalability in production
• Continuously evaluate, improve, and monitor model outcomes and system behavior

About You

• You’re curious, analytical, and excited about applying AI in real-world products
• You’re comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• You balance strong technical skills with clear communication
• You take ownership, think in systems, and care about building things that last

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with backend software engineering
• 4+ years of production experience with Python/FastAPI (APIs, services, system design)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with AI/ML systems in production, or equivalent experience gained through backend, data, or ML engineering roles
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with modern AI tools (e.g., LLM APIs, prompt pipelines, embeddings, model integration)
• Experience using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience collaborating in fast-paced, product-driven teams

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with MLOps, model monitoring, or ML-oriented CI/CD pipelines
• Background or hands-on experience in NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems
• Experience with RAG pipelines, embeddings, or vector databases
• Familiarity with cost optimization, latency tuning, and reliability of AI systems
• Experience contributing to or using open-source AI frameworks and tools
