Magnet Group is looking for an Accountant / Bookkeeper / Auditor and Payroll / Tax Specialist.

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.

Pay: USD $7.25 / hour.

Remote position.

Fast speed internet required.

Clear English a must.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for accounting and payroll functions.
  • Research and respond to tax inquiries regarding client state payroll.
  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for clients.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have clear English.
  • QuickBooks online preferred but not required.
  • Computer / technology proficient with high levels of comfort learning and managing new systems / processes.
  • Excel is a must with formulas.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Highly comfortable interacting with multiple and diverse groups of people, good communication and organizational skills.
  • Audit banking and quickbooks back to January to find errors.
  • Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and great attention to detail.
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities; expertise in building and maintaining business relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Understanding of special reporting needs and knowledge of the best reports for each client request.
Overview

Assist the Human Resource Department with administrative and human resources functions.
