Job description

A fast-growing food-tech bakery startup is looking for a motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to support its rapid expansion. The role focuses on bulk hiring, especially for kitchen and production positions ranging from Pastry Chefs and Cake Decorators to Stewards and Packers.

The ideal candidate should also have foundational HR knowledge, including creating job structures, job descriptions, and salary scales. We are looking for someone who is proactive, eager to learn, and excited to grow with a rapidly scaling company.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage high-volume recruitment for kitchen, bakery, and operational roles
  • Source, screen, and shortlist candidates using multiple channels (job boards, social media, referrals, direct sourcing)
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for continuous hiring needs
  • Create and update job descriptions, role requirements, and competency frameworks
  • Assist with building salary scales, job levels, and growth pathways for all positions
  • Coordinate interviews, trade tests, and assessments with the operations and production teams
  • Maintain recruitment trackers, databases, and weekly hiring reports
  • Support onboarding and ensure complete HR documentation for all new hires
  • Ensure all recruitment processes comply with Bahrain labor laws and regulations
  • Contribute to establishing and strengthening the HR foundation as the company scales
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in recruitment or HR
  • Experience in bulk hiring, ideally in hospitality, bakery, F&B, manufacturing
  • Understanding of kitchen or bakery roles (pastry, baking, decorating, production, stewards)
  • Basic HR knowledge: job descriptions, salary benchmarking, onboarding, and workforce planning
  • Strong communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Proactive, hungry to learn, and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Familiarity with ATS or recruitment tools is a plus
