Overall Role Purpose
  • To provide administrative support to the Senior Stores Supervisor in all facets of administration.
Your Tasks:
  • Maintaining the Stores and inventory in a neat, logical and easily identifiable manner
  • To receive and bring into Stores (or any other appropriate location) all incoming parts and materials.
  • To carry out receiving procedures for all airworthy spares as described in the company procedures.
  • Assist in stock checking and computer-updating of inventory.
  • Packing, shipping, and documenting of all outgoing parts and materials
  • The packing, shipping, and documentation of all outgoing parts and materials are to be conducted. Orders will be arranged for shipping upon receiving approval from the Senior Stores Supervisor. Additionally, coordination of the receiving and shipping of engines is required, which includes both wrapping and unwrapping.
  • Issue parts in Trax from stock to the correct work order and restock unused parts as required.
  • Ensure that all tools that are checked out and in are properly recorded in Trax
  • Maintain a record of photographs of all shipments delivered or sent for warranty claims. Package, packing, item, and documents.
  • In conjunction with the Senior Stores Supervisor and Logistics Manager, help to resolve any queries for quarantined items.
  • Assist in regular stock checking and TRAX updating of all item’s transactions.
  • Update all the TRAX inventory control system as required.
  • Responsible for organizing and maintaining accurate pick list to ensure efficient order fulfilment processes.
  • Help both internal and external clients, including DHL AIR, EAT, and others.
  • Carry out Daily and Weekly Stores Inspections
  • Assist in monitoring material shelf life and tool calibration
  • Issue engineering material against requisitions
  • Operate forklifts to load and unload incoming shipments, transport materials to and from storage areas, and position goods as needed.
Your Profile:
  • 1-2 years in an aviation stores environment preferred
  • Excellent computer literacy skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Stores experience preferred.
  • Numeracy skills.
  • Good understanding of technical English
  • An analytical and well-organized work attitude.
  • Self motivated.
