Job summary

Mantis Collection, in collaboration with Accor, is seeking a Spa Therapist to deliver high-quality treatments in its luxury resort setting. The role requires massage skills, facial and body therapies, and a warm, professional manner.

You will maintain hygiene, manage inventory, stay updated on products, and follow safety protocols. International certifications (ITEC, CIDESCO, or CIBTAC) and experience in luxury properties are preferred, with weekend/ holiday shifts expected.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Spa Therapy, Massage Therapy, or related field.
• Experience as a Spa Therapist in luxury resort or hotel preferred.
• Hold internationally recognized certifications such as ITEC, CIDESCO, or CIBTAC.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of spa treatments (massages, facials, body treatments) tailored to guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation in treatment rooms and spa areas.
• Engage with guests professionally and provide product recommendations.
• Stay informed about spa products and techniques to support guests’ wellness journey.
• Monitor supplies and communicate replenishment needs to keep treatment rooms stocked.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure safe treatments.

Spa Therapist

As a Spa Therapist, you will deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing professional, high-quality spa treatments and services to guests. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of various therapeutic techniques to ensure each guest enjoys a rejuvenating and personalized experience. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in spa therapy, demonstrate a warm and welcoming demeanor, and maintain high standards of hygiene and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Spa Treatments: Perform a wide range of spa treatments, including massages, facials, and body treatments, customized to meet individual guest needs.
• Maintain Professional Standards: Uphold cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards within treatment rooms and spa areas.
• Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing product recommendations and answering any questions to enhance their spa experience.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about spa products and techniques, actively recommending appropriate items to guests to support their wellness journey.
• Inventory Management: Monitor supplies and communicate replenishment needs to ensure treatment rooms are always stocked.
• Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow all health and safety regulations, especially concerning skin sensitivities and contraindications to ensure safe treatments.

Qualifications

• Education: Certificate or diploma in Spa Therapy, Massage Therapy, or a related field is required.
• Experience: Prior experience as a Spa Therapist in a luxury resort or hotel setting is preferred.
• Certifications: Must hold internationally recognized certifications/diplomas such as ITEC, CIDESCO, or CIBTAC.
• Skills: Proficient in various massage techniques, facials, and spa therapies; strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Customer Service Orientation: Excellent interpersonal skills, ensuring a warm and professional guest interaction.
• Flexibility: Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Attention to Detail: High level of detail-oriented skills to ensure guest satisfaction and high treatment standards.
