Responsibilities

  • Selling dental products such as x-ray machines, dental lab equipment, sterilization equipment, and denture materials.
  • Identifying opportunities for new business by contacting potential clients, researching their needs, and presenting solutions.
  • Presenting information about new products or services to dentists through in-office demonstrations or trade shows.
  • Helping with new patient check ins, including taking medical histories and recording patient information in the computer.
  • Establishing new accounts with new customers by conducting initial consultations with the dentist regarding treatment options and materials.
  • Preparing quotes for new equipment or procedures based on costs provided by manufacturers or suppliers.
  • Determining insurance coverage for dental procedures or products and submitting claims to insurance companies for payment.
  • Estimating costs for dental services based on insurance coverage or other criteria specified by the dentist.
