Job summary

A leading travel services provider in Bahrain seeks a Sales Executive to drive revenue and passenger targets in the travel and airline industry. You will develop promotional action plans, monitor sales strategies, and analyze market trends to support business growth. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in sales, particularly in travel or airlines, and possesses strong negotiation and customer service skills. Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Plan
    • Recommend, develop promotional action plans focused on meeting the line of business and revenue targets within account portfolio.
    • Participate and actively contribute to planning sessions by providing constructive feedback and product range, pricing, promotion plans and sales strategies that are well suited to the marketplace.
  • Deploy
    • Review and monitor sales strategies in the territory and provide recommendations to the customer.
    • Co‑ordinate the distribution of quality marketing and promotional collateral and material, ensuring it is exploited objectively and effectively.
  • Lead
    • Work closely with supporting sales teams/business units to ensure that all business opportunities are pursued.
    • Gather and analyse competitor intelligence and market trends with action‑based data to support management in refining sales and business strategies to ensure the business maintains a leading position in the market.
  • Execute
    • Achieve/exceed revenue & passenger targets within the allocated area of work, to support the growth and ensure revenue targets are met.
    • Monitor incentive programmes with Travel trade and corporate houses within guidelines established.
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data with feedback and recommendations to the Sales Manager.
Qualification
  • 12 years schooling or equivalent
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the travel or airline industry
  • Experience in the Travel Agency /GDS/Airline industry including 5 years in outdoor sales & marketing capacity.
  • Current experience and knowledge of travel trade distribution essential.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Travel Trade and Corporate sector essential
  • Strong Customer Service, presentation & Negotiation skills, a must.
  • Computer Knowledge, i.e. Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Must be adaptable and a strong team player with the ability to work under pressure
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be prepared to work after hours and weekends when needed.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
