Position Overview

As a Radio Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing radio equipment used for communication purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in radio technology, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain radio equipment such as transmitters, receivers, antennas and other related devices.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on all radio equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor and test radio signals to identify any potential problems or interruptions.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in radio technology and implement new systems as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Radio Technician.
• Strong technical knowledge of various types of radio equipment and systems.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Familiarity with safety procedures related to working with electrical equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Education
