Job summary

NovaMart Procurement is seeking a reliable Driver for our team in Manama, Bahrain. You will transport goods safely and provide courteous service to customers and colleagues.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver's license, at least 2 years of professional driving experience, and good English communication skills. The role requires awareness of local traffic and basic vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a professional driver preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic patterns in Manama, Bahrain.
• Able to lift heavy objects when necessary.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance is desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
• Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery.
• Load and unload goods as needed.
• Inspect vehicles for any mechanical issues or damages before and after each trip.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and other expenses.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition.
