Job summary

VivaVibe Productions in Manama seeks a skilled Carpenter for a part-time role. You will build, install and repair structures and fixtures from wood, plywood and related materials. This position provides hands-on training for women with no prior carpentry experience.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading and interpreting drawings.
• Ability to work with wood, plywood and related materials.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to blueprints or specifications.
• Cut materials using hand or power tools.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, flooring and trim.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment at all times.
• Communicate with clients to understand requirements and provide recommendations.
