Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
• Proficient knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools including power saws, jointers, routers.
• Ability to read technical documents and blueprints.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Good understanding of safety procedures and precautions in construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan construction processes.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to drawings or specifications.
• Build foundations, walls, roofs and other structures using various tools and materials.
• Install structures such as windows, frames, flooring, trim and hardware.
• Repair or replace damaged or rotting wood pieces.
• Inspect work progress regularly to ensure quality standards are met.
