Job summary

Yokogawa is seeking a Network Security Engineer principal to lead cyber security architecture across manufacturing projects. You will implement security guidelines, support multinational teams, and mentor DCS/SCADA engineers to sustain Yokogawa security solutions.

Qualifications include 6–8 years in OT, 60% MEA travel, and MCSE/CCNA/OT certifications as assets. A full-time CS degree is required; strong English communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 6–8 years in OT industry with 2 years leading projects or service maintenance.
• Approximately 60% travel within MEA region.
• Hands-on system and network engineering experience, preferably in the process control domain.
• MCSE, CCNA/CCNP preferred; OT certifications such as IEC62443, GICSP are a plus.
• Full-time university degree in Computer Science or a related subject.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives to implement and maintain cyber security architecture on the manufacturing environment.
• Comply with network security guidelines, specifications, and project documents.
• Support multinational engineering teams with the project manager.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity architecture on projects.
• Conduct inspections and healthiness audits of Yokogawa cyber security solutions.
• Lead and mentor team of DCS/ESD/SCADA system service engineers for lifecycle support of security solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• The Network Security engineer principal role is to lead initiatives to implement and maintain Cyber security architecture onto the manufacturing environment.
• Complying to network security guideline specifications, design approach and documents, for project implementation.
• Supporting the activities of the multinational engineering team with the project manager.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity architecture on projects.
• Conduct inspections and healthiness audits of Yokogawa cyber security solutions.
• Lead and mentor team of DCS/ESD/SCADA system service engineers for lifecycle support of Yokogawa’s cyber security solutions.

Qualification and Experience

• Engineer Level: At least 6-8 years’ experience in OT industry and 2 years of Leading project experience or service maintenance, experience on Yokogawa’s cyber security solutions will be an added advantage.
• Approximately 60% travel within the MEA region
• Proven hands‑on system & network engineering experience, preferably in the process control domain.
• Preferably MCSE, & CCNA/CCNP certified. OT certifications such as IEC62443, GICSP will be an added advantage.
• Full time university degree in Computer Science or a related subject

Competencies

• Endpoint Protection : McAfee ePO suite, VSE, ENS & Application Control (Whitelisting)

Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEPM)

• Microsoft Platform : Active Directory, Group Policy, System Hardening.
• WSUS patch management., Terminal services.
• Backup & Recovery : Acronis, Symantec Backup Exec & SSR, Netbackup etc.

Familiar with bare metal backup & recovery. SAN, LTO Tape library setup.

• Switching, Routing & Firewalls: Segmentation using Cisco Firepower, Juniper, Palo Alto & Fortigate Firewalls. Cisco Switching and Routing experience.Vulnerability Management
• Network Monitoring using Solarwinds / WhatsUpGold.
• Network architecture design and implementation.
• Virtualization: VMWare ESXi, Hyper‑V, high availability.
• Hardware: HP, Dell, SAN, Tape Library
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as: ISO 27001, NIST Guidelines and IEC/ISA 62443

Skills

• Good documentation skills with MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Capability in conducting business in English both in speaking and writing.
• Ability to manage a team of engineers.
• Familiarity with available technology in the automation market.
