Job summary

The role involves building relationships with retail partners, identifying new opportunities, merchandising displays, training staff, and reporting on performance. A high school diploma and prior merchandiser experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as Merchandiser or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy objects if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with key retail partners and clients.
• Identify potential new business opportunities and collaborate with the sales team to secure them.
• Monitor product availability, inventory levels and prices across stores.
• Plan and execute effective merchandising strategies to increase product visibility.
• Create attractive displays that showcase product features and benefits.
• Train store staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
• Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends and customer feedback.
