Job summary

A leading Defense Contractor in Bahrain seeks an ISP/OSP technician to maintain fiber optic cables for the OCONUS Piers program, essential for supporting naval operations. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma, active secret clearance, and extensive experience in the IT field. Responsibilities include providing connect/disconnect services, testing UCA cables, and documentation tasks, with a pay range of $46,800 - $84,600.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Secret Clearance.
• 5–10 years of previous experience in the Information Technology field.
• Possess one DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CCNA, GSEC, etc.).
• Completed the ACAS Operator and Supervisor Course.

Responsibilities

• Provide connect/disconnect service to all vessels arriving or departing from assigned location.
• Conduct testing of UCA cables at required intervals.
• Track planned arrival and departure of vessels and respond within required service targets.
• Document daily shift activities in reporting and ticketing tools.
