Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will provide therapy to children and young adults with autism and related developmental conditions, focusing on improving motor, sensory, daily living, and functional skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students’ physical, sensory, and functional abilities through standardized tools and observation.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with each student’s IEP (Individualized Education Program).
  • Work on improving fine motor, gross motor, sensory integration, and daily living skills.
  • Provide therapy sessions in one-on-one, group, and classroom settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to generalize skills across environments.
  • Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Train staff and parents on strategies to support students’ physical and sensory needs.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive therapy environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
  • Valid professional license (eligible for NHRA registration in Bahrain).
  • Minimum 2 years of pediatric experience, preferably with autism and developmental delays.
  • Strong knowledge of sensory integration, motor development, and assistive strategies.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to individual needs.
