Job Description

Accelerate strategic growth initiatives and deliver key turbomachinery projects – such as DGS retrofits and upgrades – driving methane emission reductions and operational efficiency.

Customer Support & Relationship Management
  • Deliver day‑to‑day technical support for rotating equipment issues, ensuring rapid resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through prompt after‑sales service and proactive technical assistance.
  • Ensure all customer queries and feedback are addressed by the appropriate teams in a timely manner.
Project Leadership
  • Lead critical site activities, including turnkey retrofit programs, ensuring on‑time delivery, compliance with HSE standards, and alignment with customer expectations.
  • Oversee global field services, MRO, and DGS retrofit projects within budget and schedule constraints.
Technical Expertise
  • Provide engineering support in rotor dynamics, stress analysis, and performance optimisation of centrifugal compressors.
  • Deliver profitable consultancy and end‑to‑end solutions to maximise customer production output and extend intervals between planned shutdowns.
Strategic & Commercial Initiatives
  • Drive turbomachinery services profitability and growth by supporting corporate strategy and innovation initiatives.
  • Conduct high‑complexity technical and commercial presentations to internal and external stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Develop competitive advantage through direct account management and strategic positioning against OEM and DGS competitors.
Innovation & Collaboration
  • Collaborate with global Centres of Excellence on product issues and support energy transition and new product development initiatives.
  • Focus on innovation and value creation to strengthen market leadership.
  • Key Accountabilities
  • Guarantee successful execution of turnkey retrofit programmes and critical site work within agreed timelines, budgets, and HSE standards.
  • Oversee global Upgrade and Retrofits projects to meet contractual and quality requirements.
  • Champion innovation and value creation in turbomachinery services to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Drive turbomachinery services profitability and growth through strategic initiatives and business development.
  • Conduct high‑impact technical and commercial presentations to secure new opportunities and strengthen existing relationships.
Qualifications
  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive rotating equipment experience.
  • Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to liaise with customers.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills in design, problem‑solving and development activities.
  • Experience in the Oil and Gas industry and awareness of turbomachinery and compressor OEMs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
