Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on kitchen and mechanical room equipment. You will inspect and repair tools and systems, program TVs, and manage basic inventory while following safety procedures.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and some experience in general maintenance or hotel engineering.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment, or machines and perform basic repairs.
• Program TVs and perform inventory duties for housekeeping and engineering.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout safety procedures before maintenance work.
• Maintain and requisition parts and supplies, and communicate daily activities.
