Job summary

Raffles Bahrain is seeking a Laundry Attendant to deliver exceptional garment and linen care, supporting a seamless luxury guest experience. You will ensure linens, uniforms and guest laundry are handled with utmost care and efficiency, aligned with the elegance and service standards of Raffles and Fairmont.

Work closely with Housekeeping and Laundry teams to maintain pristine presentation and operational excellence while contributing to guest satisfaction across the property.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or a similar role within a luxury hotel environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of laundry procedures, fabric care, stain removal techniques, and laundry equipment operation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and garment care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently while maintaining operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, pressing machines, and ironing equipment, in accordance with hotel standards and safety procedures.
• Ensure all hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest luxury hospitality standards.
• Handle guest laundry requests efficiently and professionally, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional attention to detail.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, press, and organize laundry items while following proper fabric care and laundry procedures.
• Inspect linens, uniforms, and guest garments for damage, stains, or wear, reporting any issues to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, storage rooms, and equipment at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies, chemicals, linens, and uniforms, reporting shortages as required.
• Adhere to hygiene, sanitation, and health & safety standards while handling laundry chemicals and equipment responsibly.
• Coordinate closely with the Housekeeping team and other departments to support seamless hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
• Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality of guest information and belongings at all times.
• Handle guest concerns and special laundry requests professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and service excellence.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment while upholding the luxury service culture of Raffles Bahrain.
