VertexGlobal in Manama is seeking a reliable Light Driver to safely operate a light vehicle, transport goods and passengers, and maintain vehicle readiness. The role requires adherence to traffic laws, good communication, and the ability to follow schedules.

Salary is 900$ per month with free visa sponsorship and a ticket for the selected candidate; accommodation is not provided. The driver must have a valid license and be able to lift items when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a light driver or similar role.
• Valid driver's license for light vehicles in the country of employment.
• Good knowledge of traffic rules and regulations.
• Familiarity with GPS devices.
• Ability to lift heavy objects if required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a light vehicle while adhering to all traffic rules and regulations.
• Transport goods and people to their destinations in a timely manner.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained and in good working condition.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately.
• Plan the most efficient route for each trip to save time and fuel consumption.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when necessary.
• Follow delivery schedules provided by the company.
• Maintain accurate records of trips including mileage, fuel consumption and expenses.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
