Job summary

NASS Group & Corporation is seeking a seasoned Plumbing Engineer to design, coordinate, and oversee water supply, drainage and sanitary systems for major construction projects. The role requires hands-on CAD capabilities, strong codes knowledge, and effective collaboration with design, construction and site teams to deliver safe, compliant installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of relevant plumbing engineering experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply, drainage and sanitary installations.
• Good knowledge of local plumbing codes, standards and construction practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering/design software.
• Experience in reviewing technical drawings, specifications and submittals.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, sanitary, and related systems.
• Prepare detailed plumbing layouts, calculations, drawings, specifications, and material schedules using CAD and relevant software.
• Carry out pipe sizing, flow rate, pressure and system capacity calculations.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate plumbing designs with architectural, mechanical, civil, electrical and structural disciplines.
• Review drawings and submittals to identify design and coordination issues.
• Conduct site visits to monitor installation progress and quality.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams, subcontractors and junior engineers.
