Land Surveyor Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Land Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Manama. As an assistant, you will work closely with our experienced land surveyors to assist in the collection and analysis of data for various projects. This is an ideal position for students interested in gaining practical experience in the field of land surveying.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting field surveys using various equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners


• Prepare and maintain accurate field notes, sketches, and digital data records


• Assist in processing collected data and creating survey maps using software programs such as AutoCAD and GIS


• Conduct research and gather information to assist senior surveyors in determining land boundaries and property lines


• Maintain survey equipment, ensuring they are properly calibrated and functioning correctly


• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (current enrollment in a related degree program is preferred)


• Basic understanding of land surveying principles and techniques


• Proficiency in using survey equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners is a plus


• Proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS software is an advantage but not required


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure


• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time


• Good physical fitness (ability to walk long distances while carrying equipment)


• Valid driver's license is preferred
