Ideal candidates have a diploma/degree in surveying or related field, and familiarity with AutoCAD is an asset. Strong math, accuracy, and teamwork are valued; outdoor work in varying weather is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in surveying or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques and equipment.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other mapping software is an asset.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior surveyors in conducting surveys and collecting data.
• Use GPS total stations and levels to measure and map land features.
• Analyze data and prepare reports, maps and drawings.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in measurements and calculations.
• Follow safety protocols while working on-site.
