Job summary

Work corp in Manama, Bahrain is seeking a Junior Accountant to support financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and basic bookkeeping. The role requires at least 2 years of accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Biometric passport is required and accommodation is provided. You will assist with journal entries, month-end close, budgeting support, and ensure accuracy of invoices in line with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Biometric passport required

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and receivable records
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry and reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close procedures
• Review expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Ensure timely payments of invoices and resolve discrepancies or issues that may arise
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to all financial regulations
