Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Proven experience as Instrument Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of instruments and control systems used in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and loop calibrators.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to troubleshoot issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Physical ability to work in confined spaces or at heights.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instruments and control systems including transmitters, sensors, analyzers, controllers, and valves.
• Perform calibration checks and sensor replacements.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs for proper functioning.
• Conduct regular inspections and address issues proactively.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to solve complex technical issues.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report changes to equipment status.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
