Job summary

Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain is seeking a Finance Executive (General Cashier/Payroll) to join our Bahrain resort. The role covers cash handling, payroll processing, and revenue reconciliations within a luxury hospitality environment.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in accounting/auditing, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong MS Office skills, plus leadership and team-management abilities. A competitive benefits package accompanies the opportunity.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Software competencies – Microsoft Office programs (Intermediate).
• Leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate statements for third-party outlets and summaries for credit tips distribution.
• Validate and finalize incentive and commission schedules submitted by departments, ensuring accuracy.
• Compile salary deductions from staff bars and other outlets, preparing necessary documentation.
• Manage team member telephone deductions and post commission and incentive journal vouchers to the Sun system.
• Prepare month-end revenue reconciliation summaries with Opera and the SUN system, reconcile guest accounts and ledgers, and post month-end journals.
• Prepare daily revenue reconciliation reports comparing Opera and Sun systems, and Symphony versus Opera.
