Job summary

SkillUp MENA seeks an experienced Head of Products to shape the strategy and lifecycle of our learning technology products across the MENA region. You will define the product vision, drive innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in product management, leadership experience, and a strong SaaS/EdTech background. Fluent English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Product Management, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Proven SaaS/EdTech/LMS or enterprise software experience.
• Strong Agile, Scrum, Lean product management knowledge.
• Experience with regional/international markets preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch.
• Conduct market research, customer research, and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Marketing, CS, and Learning.
• Prioritize initiatives based on value, impact, and feasibility.
• Define requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor KPIs and analytics; drive data-driven decisions.
• Lead product launches and go-to-market support with Sales/Marketing.
• Gather feedback and translate insights into enhancements.
• Build and mentor a high-performing PM team; manage budgets.

Overview

SkillUp MENA is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Products to lead the strategy development and lifecycle management of our learning technology products and digital solutions. The successful candidate will define the product vision, drive innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, customer-centric products that support business growth across the MENA region. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, market insight, leadership, and technical understanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the company’s business objectives.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and market research to launch and continuous improvement.
• Conduct market analysis, customer research, and competitor benchmarking to identify new product opportunities.
• Work closely with Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Learning teams to deliver high-impact products.
• Prioritize product initiatives based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
• Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Monitor product performance using KPIs and analytics, making data-driven decisions to optimize product success.
• Lead product launches and support go-to-market strategies with Sales and Marketing teams.
• Gather customer feedback and translate insights into actionable product enhancements.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Product Management team.
• Manage product budgets, resource planning, and product governance.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, AI trends, SaaS innovations, and developments in the Learning and Development industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA or related field) is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in Product Management, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing SaaS, EdTech, LMS, or enterprise software products.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Lean Product Management, and product development methodologies.
• Experience working with regional or international markets is highly preferred.
• Strategic product management and roadmap planning.
• Leadership and team management.
• Product discovery, market research, and customer-centric thinking.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Financial and commercial awareness with experience managing product budgets.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of AI-powered products, cloud technologies, and digital transformation solutions is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
