Qualifications

Gardener - Manama, Bahrain (Contract)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and health of our gardens and outdoor spaces. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the planting, pruning, watering, and fertilizing of plants in the gardens.


• Monitor and maintain the health of plants by identifying and treating pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies.


• Trim hedges, bushes, and trees to maintain their shape and size.


• Regularly mow lawns and remove weeds to ensure neatness.


• Install and repair irrigation systems as needed.


• Keep garden tools and equipment clean and in good working condition.


• Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Gardener or similar role.


• In-depth knowledge of different types of plants, trees, shrubs, flowers, etc. grown in Bahrain's climate.


• Familiarity with gardening tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, etc.


• Physical strength and stamina to work outdoors for extended periods.


• Good communication skills to effectively communicate with team members.


• Ability to follow instructions accurately.


• Basic understanding of safety precautions while working with gardening tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Horticulture or related field.


• Experience working in commercial or residential gardens in Bahrain.
