Job summary

Apex Group is a leading fund administration and middle office solutions provider. This role coordinates and manages all administration functions for a defined client group in Bahrain, ensuring accurate processing and regulatory compliance.

Key duties include NAV and financial statement review, capital calls and distributions, audit support, AML/KYC onboarding, and timely client deliverables while maintaining strong client relations.

Responsibilities

• Review NAV files for Private Equity funds ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Review annual financial statements
• Process fund capital calls and distributions
• Assist in audit processes for assigned relationships
• Onboard investors including AML/KYC review
• Collaborate to ensure client deliverables are met
• Maintain consistency and accuracy of assigned relationships
• Submit regulatory filings on behalf of clients
• Interact with clients, fund directors and other stakeholders
• Assist MIS reporting

The Role & Key Responsibilities

The principal responsibility for the position is the coordination and management of all administration functions relating to a specific group of clients.

• Review of Net Asset Valuation (NAV) files for a variety of Private Equity funds, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with fund governing and regulatory procedures
• Review of annual financial statements
• Calculation and processing of fund capital calls and distributions
• Assist in the preparation and completion of the audit process for assigned relationships
• Investor onboarding including AML/KYC documents review
• Assist in staff collaboration and ensure that client deliverables are being met
• Responsible for the consistency and accuracy of assigned relationships
• Submission of regulatory on behalf of clients
• Regular interaction with clients, fund directors and other relevant parties
• Assist management with MIS reporting

Skills Required

• A detailed understanding of Private Equity and other close ended fund structures and the fund administration industry
• A detailed understanding of regulatory requirements
• 5-10 years’ experience in fund accounting and a professional degree in accounting or finance
• An ability and desire to work to tight deadlines
• An ability to multi-task and manage projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with colleagues, clients, other stake holders
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent communication skill
