Job summary

Avanta Works in Isa Town, Bahrain invites applications for an Entry-Level Florist Assistant to support our team in creating beautiful floral arrangements for weddings, events and daily orders.

You will work closely with experienced florists, learn basic design techniques, assist with flower prep, and help with shop maintenance and deliveries as needed. This is a great chance to gain hands-on experience in the floral industry.

Qualifications

• Passion for flowers and floral design.
• Experience in a flower shop is preferred but not required.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Basic knowledge of different flowers and their care instructions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of flowers such as trimming stems, removing thorns, and arranging them in vases or bouquets.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the flower shop.
• Assisting with customer inquiries and taking orders over the phone or in person.
• Learning and implementing different floral design techniques under the guidance of experienced florists.
• Helping with deliveries to customers or event venues when needed.
