Tivoli Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort and Avani Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort are seeking a highly experienced Director of Finance to lead pre-opening financial operations for two luxury beachfront properties. You will establish robust controls, budgeting, and reporting while partnering with hotel leadership to ensure governance and profitability from day one.

The role requires deep hotel finance expertise, strategic insight, and the ability to build solid financial foundations for a premium

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
ACCA, CMA or similar certification is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years in senior finance or accounting, or 2 years in similar role.
High professionalism with strong business acumen.
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and reporting systems.
Fully conversant with accounting principles and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-opening financial planning and setup, including budgeting and forecasting.
Develop and implement financial policies and SOPs aligned with brand standards.
Prepare pre-opening budgets, opening balance sheets, and capex tracking.
Oversee accounting, finance, procurement, cost control, and payroll.
Ensure timely financial reporting including monthly statements and variance analysis.
Provide financial guidance to department heads and manage cost control.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, audits, tax regulations, and policies.
Support Hotel Manager with cash flow management and strategic insights.
Establish and lead the finance team during pre-opening.
Implement controls to safeguard assets, cash handling, inventory, and purchasing.
