Job summary

Sulzer in Bahrain is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support onsite repairs and service, supervise field staff, and ensure safe, efficient operations in the assigned area.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience with Electrical / Mechanical products.
• Field Service Experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• High level skills in time management.
• Ability to engage and work with others.
• Travel ~ >50% of time.
• Fluent in written and spoken English is a must.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, inspect, machine, repair and rebuild rotating equipment.
• Field service repairs and/or overhauls at workshop or client locations.
• Supervision of subcontractors, from time to time.
• Liaising with customers to compile job reports and represent Sulzer in all aspects of rotating equipment services.
• Assist in the production and maintenance of the OSH, Quality and Environment policies and procedures.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining ISO accreditation.
• Interpreting engineering drawings
• Balancing of rotating Equipment, and Alignment of pumps, motors etc.
• Machining of components
