Job summary

Work corp is seeking a Mason to join our Muharraq construction team. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of masonry experience and can read blueprints. The role involves laying bricks, stones, and other materials to build walls, chimneys, fireplaces, and more, with emphasis on precision and safety.

The position is a contract role offering a salary of 1600$ per month, with accommodation provided for the contract duration. Strong teamwork and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mason in the construction industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods of time.
• Familiarity with various materials used in masonry work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
• Good teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks associated with masonry work including laying bricks, stones, and other materials to construct walls, chimneys, fireplaces, and other structures.
• Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with materials.
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using hand or power tools.
• Align structures using levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Fill joints between stones or bricks using mortar or other bonding agents.
• Clean excess mortar from the surface of newly laid masonry.
