Job summary

Excavator Operator

We are a leading construction company based in Manama, seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our team on a contract basis.

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move, and load materials at construction sites.

Responsibilities:

• Operating excavators safely and efficiently according to job site requirements
• Conducting pre-operation checks on equipment and reporting any issues or malfunctions
• Digging trenches, ditches, foundations, and other areas as directed by the project manager
• Moving and loading materials using the excavator's bucket or other attachments
• Maintaining accurate records of daily operations and reporting any incidents or accidents
• Following all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment
• Assisting with general labor tasks as needed on the job site

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• Valid Excavator Operator certification preferred but not required
• At least 1 year of experience operating excavators or other heavy machinery in a construction setting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, and other technical drawings
• Physical stamina to withstand long hours of sitting and operating controls in extreme weather conditions
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
