Job summary

VertexGlobal in Isa Town, Bahrain, seeks an experienced English Tutor to provide individualized instruction for students of all ages. The role requires strong communication, patience, and adaptability, with a minimum of 3 years of ESL teaching experience and a Bachelor's in English. Accommodation is provided and visa holders are preferred.

Salary is negotiable, based on experience. 40 hours per week, on-site position in Isa Town.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching English as a second language.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Candidates with their own visa are preferred and proof of qualifications must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to each student.
• Teach English language skills including reading, writing, speaking and listening.
• Administer assessments to track progress and provide feedback.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about student progress and concerns.
• Create a positive learning environment that promotes growth and confidence.
• Stay updated on trends and methodologies in English language teaching.
