Job summary

Nasser Centre for Science & Technology is seeking a qualified and passionate Physics Teacher to join the Academic Department. You will plan and deliver engaging physics lessons, explain concepts with experiments, and assess student progress in a safe, inclusive classroom and laboratory setting.

You will develop clear lesson plans, organize laboratory activities, and provide constructive feedback to learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Physics Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of physics principles, laboratory practices, and teaching methodologies.
• Good communication, presentation, and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to use educational technology and Microsoft Office applications effectively.
• Good command of English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging physics lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum.
• Explain theoretical concepts and demonstrate practical applications through experiments and activities.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, laboratory activities, assignments, and assessments.
• Evaluate students' academic performance, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning needs.
• Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, and academic progress records.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom and laboratory environment.
• Participate in departmental meetings, school activities, and professional development programmes.
